- All, I have the original 30 amp Jaeger ammeter in the car. Can anyone tell me, if you were holding it in your hand, looking at the front of the gauge, which terminal is positive on a negative ground

- Both of them. I believe the one on the right should be wired to the control box, while the one on the left goes to the fuse block and starter solenoid. This car was wired for negative ground. If you
