Allan I re-veneered my dash but I had no concern about an exact color match. TBON states walnut veneer dash. I have always heard burl walnut. It is possible that it is English burl walnut or a Europe

Well, there is "right" and there is "Prestige". There is no way any Tiger came with a dash with that perfect mirror finish! I think it should be burled but not that burled... it was a cheaper cut so

The mystery deepens :) I stopped by the re-finisher to see the walnut veneer that he had selected to match what is on the Tiger's dash, from his old stash. It isn't burled :) I've not looked closely

I think we can all have a dash that may or may not be an exact copy of the original and if you have one thats wonderful but I have no idea if my dashes are an exact match, he had the dashes to match
