Rear Ends....whooooo

Based on the horror stories of quality control in the 1970's BL plants
(wire wheels on one side of the car and steel wheels on the other side),
I'm sure we can assume that at least a few of the almost 95K TR6s left the
factory without a black-painted rear panel (isn't a valance under the
bumper?) by mistake...heck, I wouldn't be too surprised if a few left
without an engine too.
