Bob---The 215X65X15 Dunlop D60/A2 seems like a fair choice. Especially
carrying an H speed rating. The price of around $70 each (tires.com) is
also about right. The 215 is a bit wide for the 5.5" rim, so you might
have to watch that they're not over-inflated, or you'll be riding only
on the center of the tire tread. The Pirelli P6000 Sport Veloce looks
to be a little better tire, for about the same price. The once popular
70 series tire sources are drying up, unless you want to use the
rock-hard touring tire. Still plenty of them around, it seems. Depends
on how you use the car.
