Corey---I've had the "trip" odometer stick several times as it tries to
click over from 199.9 to 200. Also when the main odometer tried to go
from 99999 to 00000. When this happens the speedo needle will jump
around a little at certain speeds, when the numbers won't tumble.  
 (Something is in a bind.) So far, turning the trip meter back to 000
thru at least one cycle, as the car was moving, cleared the symptom.
Eventually, the instrument will need servicing.
