Thanks all, glad you were there to confirm the float.
i figured it was, but could not afford time on a red herring
chase!
i took off the carb in question and open the bowl...
everything seemed to move fine, but there was some fine reddish
dust in there (rust from gas tank i'll bet)
whelp...
the leak is no longer there.
the idel is horrible now, but i can go home after a long day
of work. the car only took me about 45 min. to do...
