Speedometer cable

Thanks to the list for setting me straight on O/D transmission oil.  Now 
I have what should be a very simple question - how does the speedometer 
cable route from the left hand bulkhead to the right hand side of the 
tranny?  I have two clamps to attach the cable to the chassis and body 
(from TRF), but I have no idea  where to attach them.  Can anyone be of 
help?

Another related question: Doe the angle drive require a washer between 
it and the transmission?
