I also just noticed that the intake manifold is from an early TR6. I'd do
some research on this car (get the engine number for sure) to make sure
there aren't other "botches" on it.
IMHO, the car's worth under $5k.
FWIW, when I was in college, I thought the Hathaway was apretty good
solution for a clapped out TR6. I live in the northeast US - there were
plenty of donor cars for such a project way back when.
