Hello all, On a recently acquired 1976 TR6, I'm noticing a good bit of grinding going into 3rd gear, especially on downshifts. A friend said it could be bad synchros, or just the possibility that shifting on cars of this era is more like an art. Any opinions? Is grinding common on TR6's? I hope it's an easy fix, but I know transmission repairs can be expensive. Appreciate any feedback/suggestions you may have. Thanks!! Ted Grinding '76 TR6 |
