Hi Chuck. The EGR valve diverts exhaust gas to the intake to reduce NOx
emissions. It is not connected to the crankcase. I think the hole in the
rocker cover should be sufficient. You might need to change to an unsealed
oil fill cap to vent it directly to atmosphere.
