Steve,
I've heard of using a broomstick or something similar and poking up from
under the car. I would think your car would have to be up fairly high to do
this. I also remember seeing instructions for making a tool that could be
stuck through a hole in the firewall and used to release the latch. Try
searching goggle for a tr6 emergency hood release.
