Try MSC Fasteners -- mscfasteners.com. I've bought a ton of stuff from them
-- they have everything stainless for reasonable prices, including your nuts.
NFI, of course. Prices are very reasonable. Large orders help defray
shipping costs.

I'd like to dress-up the valve cover a bit.
Does anyone have a source for chrome or stainless acorn nuts for the 5/16-24
threads on the valve-cover studs?
Everything I've found has been 5/16-18.
