Bob Fabie asked about these headlamps, and I happen to have installed
them about a year or so ago, after Mitch S. did his. I did one light at
a time, and compared the brightness. The halogen was about 25% brighter
than the original. I think it is a good upgrade. Dan M. said there
should be no wiring issues with these, and there hasn't been. I also did
the alternator upgrade using the Delco unit a while back. It more than
keeps up with my system demands.

Are the Halogen lights sold at Victoria British for about $10 each a big
improvement over the stock Lucas head lamps? Does the assumed additional
amp draw present any alternator problems?
