John, When I did mine on my '72 the old unit was stuck fairly tight. I'd say give it a good jerk. On the other hand I gritted my teeth and twisted my mouth when I did that to mine Steve Subject: removing the vacuum advance unit My 1973 distributor vacuum advance is broken and I want to replace it. I've poked several things in the pin hole, but it only wobbles. Is there more than one pin? What will release it? Thanks--John * |
