About the valve bounce. I installed upgraded valve springs and stainles
valves with the rebuild. Also replaced the guides and exhaust seats. Just took
it
out to try the fuel test suggested by Dick. The damn thing must have
overheard me -it easily revs to redline! Actually before the roadtest I removed
the
coil wire to see if it was a carbon core-it appears to be. Maybe along the way
I
didn't have the coil wire fully plugged in. I am still not satisfied with
the acceleration, thought with I had done to it that it might have more scoot.
