I have occasionally found it necessary on particularly stubborn TR6's to
'adjust' the hinges with a healthy shove on the hood to bend the brackets a
bit. It takes a bit of skill to get good fitting doors, bonnets and boot
lids, and some 'tweaking may be required! If the hood isn't sticking past
the fenders up front, and you are out of adjustment on the brackets, a die
grinder can be used to oblong the holes in the brackets. That's not usually
required, though. Patience and perseverence and it'll fit.

Just be sure that your buffers and catch plate aren't pulling the bonnet out
as you close it before you get medieval!
