Michael---When U-joints start to fail, they usually moan and groan when
flexing, as the needle bearings start to self destruct. Sometimes a shot
of grease will add life to them, if so equipped. 
The second stage of this is play between the yoke and spider. You can
feel and see this by holding one end while twisting the other end of the
'joint. Do this test at all six of them. 

Expect a certain amount of play to have accumulated at splined
connections, and the gears in the differential, unless recently replaced
or rebuilt.
