Intake manifolds have to hook up to like heads, so an early US fed. spec
head need the early US fed. spec intake. The bolt patterns are the same,
but the ports align poorly if you try to put an early manifold on a late
head or visa-versa.
The exhaust spacing is the same for early/late. You and bolt either exh.
manifold on either head. The only consideration as far as the exh.
manifold is concerned - that you have the same number of downpipes that
your exhaust system needs - single downpipe for early, twin downpipe for
late.
