installing moto-lita wheel

Since there's already a string about steering wheels, I thought I'd pop this 
question. I'm trying to install my new Moto-lita steering wheel boss. The kit 
APPEARS to lack a retainer ring that would keep the assembly from sliding too 
far down on the shaft of the steering column. Also, there's nothing in the kit 
to show how to set up the horn button so it'll make the horns honk. I'm 
puzzled, perplexed, baffled and befuddled.
   
  Any thoughts and help are appreciated.
