Cary---Measure the thickness of these washers Chances are good that each
(or one of them) is less than the .092 original thickness. See if you
can pick up the .007 you lost by replacing them with stock washers. Mix
and match with a +.005 washer (.097) if necessary, to get the end play
down to .006 (or a little less).

I measured the crank shaft movement today, and got ~0.010-0.013. The
spec'd movement in the Bentley manual is 0.006-0.008. Does this mean
that I should get the 0.005 oversized thrust washers, or would a new set
of regular size work?
