leak, so I would drag my foot to slow the TR6 down.

Hi,

I'd like to add to this thread. I agree, make sure that the heater valve
on the cyl. head is closed - verify with the engine running, the hose
going to the firewall should be fairly cool if not ambient temps. Then
verify as Vance indicates that the flap on the heater box is fully
closed
and that the foam is in place and working _for you_.

I have had air leaks on that flap, and my feet got very hot. On a long
trip to/from VT, I kept smelling rubber burning and my x-wife kept
telling
me to slow down. When I got out of the car my sneaker had actually
melted!
Yikes.

That's my story and I'm sticking with it!
