Phil---Fan belts that refuse to come out or go back in shows up more so
in the later TR6 that uses the 1/2 inch wide belt. Obviously the factory
didn't make the gap so tight. The problem is usually that the motor has
shifted forward due to age softening of the rubber motor mounts.
Replacing them when the opportunity comes, and lever the motor backwards
when tightening up the adjustable brackets will get the clearance back
to well over 1/2 inch again!
