Hello,
I just got my grill back in and I'm installing Moss #680-375 "Front Seal,
Valence to Hood". Basically, it's the rubber weatherstrip that runs above the
grill/valence at the front of the hood. I had a couple of questions:
1. The length of the seal seems odd. It's not quite long enough to go from
fender to fender, but too long to go on the one smooth curve between the
headlights. Is the seal supposed to be cut to fit the one curve, or...? Can
someone take a look under their hood for me, please?
2. The seal doesn't "seal". when I close the hood, the lip of the seal goes up
towards the hood, but doesn't quite make contact. Is this my funky repro
valence manifesting itself again? Is there a better seal available from another
vendor?
