Greg-I found a R&T road test (1973) that shows the 60 to 0 stopping distance 
as 155 ft. and the 80 to 0 dist.as 280 ft. An earlier C&D test (Feb. 1969) 
gives the 80 to 0 dist. as 237 ft.
