[6pack] Worn Ring gear - high torque starter motor- connection?

I lightened the flywheel and put on a new ring gear on when I did my clutch
overhaul.

Ring gear was chewed a bit, but no starting troubles.   I wondered
if my high torque starter motor is harder on the ring gear.

Someone can
likely explain this.
