Hello new Friends,
I just joined your list and feel that it is only polite to introduce
myself.
My name is Rick Lindsay and I live in NW Houston, Texas. I am a
geophysicist, now retired from oil and gas exploration, and a rabid sports
car restorer. I have eleven cars, most of which were purchased dead. Four
are British, four are Italian, two are German, and one is Japanese. The
newest is already a decade old.
Everything is now running, for once, except for a parts car. Most of the
cars are restored exotics and/or classics. The projects d'jour are an '85
Maserati Biturbo E and a '75 TR6. The TR6 is getting a new fuel pump (on
order) but otherwise, it is ready for paint. Hopefully that work - the
paint - will start next week. The Maserati's story is best left for another
time (and perhaps place).
