Yes John. The bolts were so rusty that together, we feared too much damage.
Once it's back home I will evaluate whether I need to cut the bolts and
replace the bumpers ($700+) or polish them and live with a little
imperfection.

BTW, that color is GM Cobalt Red, available as touchup paint anywhere in
the States.
