Master-Slave Down Pipe

I am replacing the pipe with the pig tail in it from the master cylinder
to the slave cylinder as it is now 39 years old. I have often thought
about fixing a flexible hose from the slave to the frame, join, then a
solid from the frame to the master as this make more sense from
vibration. Has anybody tried this slight modification? Brent
