As tou may recall, I had a SeriesIV for sale as the wife had decided
that I should drive a car that will fit our three kids; how
unreasonable. I ended up trading the car in on a Jaguar sedan. Since
it was a trade, I got screwed a little on the price. However, now the
wife is happy, and I don't have to try to sell a soft top sports car
in the middle of winter. I did not, however, feel compelled to tell
the dealer the following:
1. I have a new in the green box Lucas generator I got from Curt when
the one in the car started making strange noises; and
2. I have a hardtop with the correct (I think) white perforated
material headliner. The top is painted red to match my baby.
Is anyone interested in these? I'd probably take $50 for the
generator, but I really have no idea what the top is worth. I don't
especially want to pay to ship it, so anyone in the Northwest might
be a better bet. I can E-mail a picture of the top, if anyone wants
one. The top has all new seals, except the quarter windows, which I
was never able to find. It has all the window surrounds, gutters,
etc. I guess they'll go to EBay if no one is interested.
