Soldering and drilling jets is rather common for quick fixes.
Usually used to find the approximate jet needed, then the that
jet, and one up or one down is bought, and installed later.
The solder corrodes easily, which makes it a poor jet as soon
as water gets in the fuel.

Your carburretor specialists must not be trying too hard on
the jets.

The weber DCOE carbs are still made (in spain).
NORMAL jets are very available.

The F49 emulsion tube would only be available used (good luck there).

70F5 idle?  Thats awefull big for an idle jet.
My engine uses 45F9.
