At 8:45 AM EST on Saturday, September 8 I started my 1959 Hillman Minx with 1
1/2 inch exhaust pipe going into a stock, original equipment Hillman Minx
muffler and a pertronix ignitor with a Bosch 12 volt coil. The car was in the
garage under my house, and even revving the engine to nearly 4000 RPM so that
it had enough power to crawl over the slight upgrade out of the garage, it did
not wake the dog up. In fact, people living in houses only a few hundred feet
away didn't even notice.

30 miles away also didn't know and didn't care!

Beamers.

at 4:58 PM West Cost DST, I started up my Tiger with the 2 1/2 inch
exhausts pipes into the 30 series Flowmasters, and the Pertronix II
Ignitor with the Super High Voltage coil.

The result far exceeded my expectations of loudness, and rumble. I
understand the rumble was heard as far away as West Hollywood, some 30
miles away, and reported as a 4.2 magnitude quake.

Please do not tell anyone it was me.
