Hi Jan,
That's not quite right about Sunbeam and Alfa Romeo.
ALFA, as it was originally called, kicked off building Darracqs under
licence. Darracq was a French manufacturer which merged with Sunbeam in
1920. Darracq owned Talbot and it was this merger that brought together the
Sunbeam and Talbot marques.
Opel started out making Darracqs too.
