Hello list-

I recently refurbished a turn signal switch for use in my Series V and I
noticed it has a "flasher" option. When the stalk is pulled, the high beams
(presumably) flash. The wiring harness I have installed is new from Sunbeam
Specialties and does not appear to have a provision built in for this. There
are two wires (of 6 total) associated with the turn signal switch that it
appears are not pre-made into the harness. The switch itself has a blue and a
brown wire that do not have corresponding connecting points in the harness I
have. Though the wiring schematics have a section at the top that seems to
show a color switch on the LHD cars with this option, I am finding neither
color wire available in the harness for the flasher option. I do not want a
fire so I thought I would ask if anyone out there knows if I am doing this
correctly. I believe I need to make a single blue and red wire to run from the
blue wire of the turn signal switch, to the junction of the blue and red wires
that exists under the dash on the left hand side. (on the schematic this is
labeled C but in reality is H) This will connect the turn signal switch to the
high beams. I also need to place a single brown wire to go from the light
switch to the turn signal switch to provide power. Does this sound correct or
am I missing something obvious? Sorry for the complex query. Thanks in advance
for any inputs.
