Hi Paul in RI,
        This is Bob in GA.  I think I have a good grill, and yes the
rubber gasket is available at Sunbeam Specialities ( www.rootes.com ) and
Classic Sunbeams ( www.clasicsunbeam.com ) Let me get out in the garage
and check what I have.
