Yes, there was a design change toward the end of the 1725 production that was
a different spring set, but I think this was a cost reduction, bottom line is
to set your
spring tensions with shims at a reputable head rebuilder and you could use

Sure, but even if the trans is in neutral, the output shaft will spin, which
some oil out the open rear.
