DC seems to be answering our tow-vehicle questions at the
auto show out here in Detroit. My wife used her press
pass yesterday and brought home press kits including the
Dodge R/T series of concept and production cars.
The Caravan R/T (concept car) carries the 3.5 liter engine
and 18-inch wheels, a Viper-esque front fascia, hood scoops
and other nonsense. Inside is a leather wrapped steering
wheel, leather seats with an embroidered R/T logo, "racing"
pedals, and an textured rubber floor for easy cleaning. No
mention of the heavy-duty towing option.
The press kit says "It's the perfect minivan for towing your
weekend race car or driving friends and family to the race
track."
Ok, so the Neon lost all its appeal, the minivans are getting
racy, and the Big Ten swept its bowl games....
Armageddon is upon us!
