(Nasdaq: BOLD) today announced its Thin Metal Film (TMF(R)) high-power battery
technology received INDUSTRYWEEK's prestigious Technology and Innovation of
the
Year Award, which was reported in the December 21, 1998 issue to an audience
of
800,000 readers. The company's patented TMF technology employs two key
structural innovations: (1) a very large plate surface achieved by using
extremely thin, closely spaced plates; and (2) unique end connectors that
provide a very low impedance connection between plates and the device to be
