Andy,

I'm experiencing the same result on my Miata.  I presume it's the
combination of a slightly larger tire (it's rubbing the fender well),
and more side flex. (where it rubs the spring perch/shock.)  It doesn't
seem to be serious, but it does sound bad during certain transitions.
