        Exactly the same on the StealthTT/VR4.

        The boost guage is a simple calculation done by the ECU using the
AFM output, and RPM.

        It makes no corrections for wastegate loss..etc.

        Toyota's boost guage actually is a mechanical sensor on the manifold
itself.
