Mike,

Well, I'm still running my Honda Civic HX in HS, but I've also noticed
that there don't seem to be tire sizes out there which match what I'd
want in terms of both width and overall diameter if I went in to SP.
The sizes I wish were available are pretty much exactly what you
mentioned. I'm starting to get in to doing open track events (my first
one will be this Saturday) and since the classes don't matter much for
that stuff, I sort of wish I could get some 14x7 or 15x7 wheels and run
a short 225 or 245 section tire.

I may still go with the 225/50-15 from Kumho or 225/45-15 from Hoosier
in a year or two, but I still wish there was a wider selection of race
tires in the 14 and 15 inch sizes. I guess we'll all just have to keep
spreading the word about racing and as more people get in to the sport,
tire companies might expand their prouct linups.
