Perhaps the factory ones are the best for this particular car. Ask Dave.

When you have 370 lb ft of torque in ESP, how is adding any more better?
Marcus Meredith's car has similar torque and I believe I heard that Howard
Duncan (after driving it to 4th at Nats last year) said it had too much
torque. Of course opinions can vary.
Frankly I'm glad Shotz's car didn't have anymore.<s> I spent about 15K on my
power trying to catch up to his power level after he and his Dad drove that
car in the Seattle NT and Pro last year. Now that my car is 13 HP less than
that car, and 100 lbs ligher, I'm not concerned with spending any more money
in that department.
>(MOTEC or similar) Did he even use an aftermarket chip ?
I believe Dave or Joel had told me they had a MOTEC or something similar. I
don't see it listed though. Again, I'm not sure it would matter.
Maybe in ASP where you drive, the suspension and weight distribution can
handle more than 370 lb ft of torque (do the ASP cars have that much?), but
perhaps it's a case where the same types of mods in ASP don't apply to some
of the top ESP ponycars.
