North American Pylon was mailed from San Francisco
on Friday, July 21, 2000. Subscribers should be receiving their copies
soon.
Last month ours came within four days. Cheers for the U.S. Post Office.

This month, expanded to 32 tabloid pages, we cover:
-SoloTime #2 MidWest Divisional at Salina, KS, Crawford site.
-BFG CenDiv #1 at Peru, IN, where Prepared Autocross Committee
Chairman Jim McKamey debuted his "new" Sunbeam Tiger and blew away all the
Prepared classes. 250 entries turned out.
-Darrell Padberg takes SS at BFG's CenDiv #2 at Walesboro, IN.
-SCCA National Tour arrived in Ayer, MA, with two (2) courses for
the 231 entrants.
-Solo Events Board proposals to revise the stock classes.
-Clint McMahan sets FTD in Atlanta in his KBS f500.
-NorPac hosts, in Sacramento, 163 west coast drivers in the first

-How the Solo Vee drivers will hold their initial National
championship.
-San Francisco Region does three events in a row. Overwhelmed with
entries, SFR now restricts its events to SCCA members only.
-Course maps of Ayer Tour and NorPac Divisional.
-American Autocross Series remembers its founder, Larry Park, with
a two-day meet at McClellan AFB, Sacramento, CA.
-Arizona Region goes to a night event to beat the heat.
-And Arizona celebrates the end of the century, too.
-Las Vegas Region does a night event in a Casino lot.
-Scott Harvey wins EP at Detroit Council meet at Auburn Hills, MI.

Our road test this month is the F-150 Ford Super CrewCab with four
full-size doors to haul all your friends while you trailer your racer to
the next meet.
