Seem to me part of the whole deal of ProSolo was to name a winner.  *A*
winner, not 4 winners.  Seem you would lose this with your plan, right? 
Personally, I like the idea of multiple classes mixed together in the
challange.  It's cool seeing a civic lined up next to a C Mod car.
