This is regarding the comment about cars named GTI/SI, etc. being allowed in
HS. Local regions are free to cut the current/future HS in half and call
the lower class I-Stock (heh heh), similar to ITC/ITD in regional road
racing. The problem at the National level is that very few people want to
drive Yugo's and other non GTI/SI cars so HS struggles to meet it's minimum
class size in Topeka. You can't lower the bar too far or they won't come.
Names like Civic SI, Integra, BMW 318, Corolla, Contour, Golf, GTI, Paseo,
Protege, Omni, Shadow, Focus, MX3, etc. are all fairly inexpensive.
