Ah, Vallejo. I ran it twice. Once was 1984 according to a trophy (I forget
if that was the first or second time but I suspect it was the second).

We had drunks trying to cross the street during the event.

We had people upset since access to the Post Office was limited.

We had me walking the course the second day realizing that the fast slalom
that I ran on the rev limiter in second (about 53 mph) and wondering if I
should shift was "just fine in second" after actually seeing the curbs and
light poles and stuff that I hadn't noticed the first day while driving my
Lotus Europa that was also my ride home (about 60 miles).

It was fun running the red lights though:-)
