At long last, and waay behind schedule (just the way the year has gone)....
The 2001 edition of "Solo Stats" is finally done.
Those who already have books on order, I expect to have them mailed tomorrow
or Monday.
"Solo Stats" is the 300-page record book of the Solo II Nationals. It
contains all the records from most championships and most trophies to the
largest classes and the largest entries from each Division, as well as the
narrowest and widest margins of victory in the 29-year history of the Solo
II Nationals.
Other sections detail every class winner since 1974 (including
"supplemental" classes), all the winners and all the trophies won from every
SCCA Region, The 100 Percenters who have been to every event (down to 9 now)
and the Silver Circle of all drivers who've done 25 or more (another 9), the
Who's Who that ranks the top 10% by a points scale (overall, and separate
men's and women's rankings). And then .. the Alpha Lists that detail the
finishes of EVERY driver who has ever competed in the Nationals -- all 5,350
of them.
The whole book goes for $40, and includes a special section, "Your Personal
Record" which details every run you have ever made at Nationals, who won
your class, and all records you are a part of. All I need is an address the
mailman can find. The price also includes Priority Mail shipping.
This is the only direct announcement that will be made on these nets. As
always, individual sections also may be purchased (priced separately)
including "Your Personal Record."
