I've had a few people ask me if its legal to put a non-factory clutch
assembly in a Stock class car. I tried reading the rules book and honestly
am not sure. I'm thinking its a "normally expendable and considered
replacement part, and if same size and type" then ok to go aftermarket, at
least oem aftermarket ? What about aftermarket like ACT or such which may be
20% stiffer but same size, etc ?

I find it hard to believe that this part falls under "standard equipment" and
that a factory Toyota oem clutch must be used in a stock class car.

Thoughts? Info from the better informed ?

Thanks!
