Lake Placid, a short drive from Plattsburgh didn't seem to be a problem for
the '80 Winter olympics. It is fantastic country. I used to live up there
and was station at that SAC base in the '70's. Excellent trout fishing in
the spring, ice fishing in the winter. Let me know when you have the event
there. I will make it part of my '04 vacation plans and haul my car up
there from Texas. Once I get back up there, I might never leave again :)
