does anyone have any good ideas for holding the alignment settings on my
slotted adjustment plates?

heavy braking will cause the a-arm to slip in the holder and mess up the
alignment.

a bolt passes through a slot and is held in place by tightening the nut.

ive thought of jamming something into the open parts of the slot. putting
other fancier adjustment devices in there, even welding a nut to the plate
and putting a bolt through. i do want to be trying different settings, so i
dont want to tack weld it.
