Ok, after watching the slideshow for like the 10th time last night, I am
truly amazed that I keep noticing something new every time I watch it.
You're a genius, Carl! And Katie's music choices really brought the whole
thing together. SFR is really fortunate to have talent like yours (both of
you), on AND off course. Did I just say off course? I meant away from
autox, not DNFs!:)

Thanks for your kind words. We did put a lot of effort into the slide show
& powerpoint award slides, but it was also a lot of fun, so I consider it an
even trade :).
I've had several people asking for VHS copies of the slideshow. I can bring
a bunch of copies to the January 28th event, but please fire me an email if
you want one so I can gauge interest. The price for the tapes will be cost
of the tape, so anybody know any really cheap sources for 30min VHS tapes?
I think it's going to be around $2 a piece if I just go to fry's and buy a
stack.
The slide show video will also be online shortly (I'm uploading it right
now). It's 67.5MB, so get those DSL lines fired up and ready...

I just wanted to say thank you for all the work that obviously went into the
Awards Banquet last night. It was a really well done event, and it clearly
took a lot of planning. My wife Carloyn had a great time because we had all
honored our pre-event commitment to avoid lengthy oil filter discussions.
The video was really fun, and I vote to have a post event re-show during the
